We know these are not easy days for you. The closing of the college you’ve called home puts you at an unexpected crossroads.
So which way will you turn?
As you consider where to continue your college journey, keep in mind the foundation of Northland College's mission: “Our innovative, interdisciplinary learning approach fosters dynamic educational experiences, research, and partnerships that extend well beyond the classroom.”
You’ll discover that St. Norbert College – also founded in the 1890s like Northland – follows a similar approach. SNC is a place where learning is done with purpose and opportunities abound.
Our college has implemented a teach-out agreement with Northland College that will be effective for students who transfer no later than the Fall 2025 semester and honored throughout your time here at SNC. We welcome transfer students, and we make the transition easy. You’ll be supported at every step, and welcomed by every member of our campus community.
Make St. Norbert College your new home away from home and join our community of Green Knights!
For Northland College undergraduate students who are in good academic standing at the time of transfer application, St. Norbert College guarantees admission. All of the credits you've already completed at Northland College will be put toward an equal or comparable degree program when transferring your college studies to SNC.
The SNC residency requirements that outline the number of semester credits and advanced courses needed to earn an undergraduate degree will be waived for Northland College students who transfer to St. Norbert College no later than the Fall 2025 semester.
You'll be able to stay on track with the same timeframe for graduation based on your college credits earned and remaining when transferring from Northland College if you continue to maintain satisfactory progress at SNC. We’ll work with you to understand all of the requirements and make it happen; we’re committed to helping you manage both the time and cost of college.
When transferring to SNC by the Fall 2025 semester, the applicable undergraduatenet tuition to complete required courses for graduation will cost the same or less than what the student paid at Northland College in their last year of enrollment, with applicable annual tuition rate increases thereafter. Room and board as well as course/program/other fees beyond the tuition will be charged at the St. Norbert College published undergraduate rate. For international students, net tuition is assessed on an individual basis.
To start the transfer process, follow these 3 steps:
1. Contact our admissions team by phone or email
2. Complete SNC's application or reach out if you'd like to re-activate yours
3. Add SNC to your FAFSA (SNC code: 003892)

Take a tour! We'd love to show you around campus and share why SNC is a college like no other.
